Other Servers

Filemaker Pro
Computing Services hosts several FileMaker Pro servers for use by members of the Boston University community. Currently we host numerous departmental databases, including databases for International Relations, the Department of Religion, and for the CAS Administrative offices.

Access
The databases are accessible through a client software package, which is available through our office at no cost to faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences. We have versions 6, and 7 at this time. Please note that our site license covers installations on University-owned equipment only. In addition to the software license of the client, we provide installation and setup services to connect to pre-existing databases.

Now up to Date
Computing Services maintains a Now Up To Date calendar server for use by members of the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Currently we host several calendars, including some for the CAS administrative offices as well as our own staff calendar. The system is accessible through a client software package, available for purchase from University Computers.

Our server is currently running version 5.2 on Mac OS X Server 10.3.
