Reserving the Lab:

Scheduling CAS Lab 330 for classes is done here.  If you intend to reserve the lab for a class this upcoming semester, or if you have already it reserved, please contact our office. The sooner we know about your technical requirements for the upcoming semester, the sooner we can address them.

Software Installation Policy:

The lab computers are configured to provide a specific suite of application software that meets the needs of most students. The lab is not equipped to support all commercially available software.

  1. We will not install software without proper licensing.
  2. We will not install software which requires the users to have administrative privileges.
  3. We require at least 20 business days before each semester or 10 business days during a semester to properly test, install, and configure lab software.
  4. If a non-standard software package is requested we may require explicit installation instructions. We do not provide full support for all software packages installed in CAS 330.


Card Access: 

Card access for CAS Lab 330 is available to all CAS students. Submit a request here. Access is granted for all 7 days of the week, from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Printing:

Lab 330 has a black and white laser printer.

Users must log on to the computers using the Active Directory as the domain. Accounts must be linked to the active directory in order to use the lab. Instructions for linking your account are provided below.

All users are given $2.00 of printing. Additional printing can be purchased from the main office, CAS 331, in whole dollar amounts during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9-5. Users may print for $.10 a page.

We do not provide color printing.

Linking your account:

In order to log onto the PC machines in 330, students will first need to link their accounts to Active Directory using the following link:

Logging on:

Windows:
Students should log on with their Kerberos Username, Password, and log on to the "AD" domain

Student accounts must be linked before logging on to AD

Macs:
There are no special requirements for logging on to Macintosh machines.

Server Access:

Students may request access to a fileserver which they can store class material and access it from any computer within the lab.
