FILEMAKER PRO DATABASE SERVERS

General Information

Computing Services hosts several FileMaker Pro servers for use by members of the Boston University community. Currently we host numerous departmental databases, including databases for International Relations, the Department of Religion, and for the CAS Administrative offices.

Accessing the FileMaker Pro Servers

The databases are accessible through a client software package, which is available through our office at no cost to faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences. We have versions 5.5, 6, and 7 at this time. Please note that our site license covers installations on University-owned equipment only. In addition to the software license of the client, we provide installation and setup services to connect to pre-existing databases.

Computing Services provides limited database creation services but offers full support for any databases hosted on any of the FileMaker database servers.
